My name is Daan and I have been struggling with diminished mental health for about a decade now. I decided to start a website where I can explore the important subject of coping with depression and anxiety disorders.
Since many millions of people all over the world suffer from these debilitating disorders, it is a widespread phenomenon. What can be done about it? What do you do if you are one of them? Experiencing sudden attacks of great fear and anxiety accompanied by physical symptoms and a fear of dying or losing control.

* Dizziness.
* Nausea.
* Tingling sensations.
* Difficulty breathing.
* Desire to run away from a situation.
* Sweating.
* Increased heartbeat.
Possible treatments for anxiety may include:
* Medication such as antidepressants and sedatives.
* Cognitive-behavioral therapy.
* Other cognitive techniques.
* Self hypnosis CD's and MP3's.
If anxiety disorders are left untreated for years, it may lead to the development of depression.

Depression is now seen as a serious medical disorder that has a negative impact on how you think, feel and act. It may also be a sign of diminishing mental health. It may be seen as a warning of impending mental illness or an underlying medical condition. It is definitely something that should be diagnosed properly and treated accordingly.

* Brain tumors.
* Vitamin deficiencies.
What are the popular treatments for depression?
* Anti-depressants.
* Psychotherapy.
* Cognitive-behavioral therapy.
* Herbs
* Regular exercise.
* Dietary changes.
* Scientific dream interpretation.
